Mark’s 15 year career in the staffing and executive search industry has included sales management, recruiting management, and consulting experience with major international companies. Daniel has been with Personnel 2000 since 2001 and has been an integral driving force in the accounts and operations of the company. As an accomplished and experienced accounts professional, Daniel plays a hands on role with both clients and candidates alike.

Daniel was born in the United States of America but soon relocated to be raised in the Cayman Islands with his family, whom are of Caymanian heritage. After his studies, Daniel enrolled in an accountancy program, designed to enhance his accountancy skills and develop his professional career within Personnel 2000.

When Daniel is not number crunching for Personnel 2000, he is often to be found with a fishing rod in hand, walking the stunning Cayman reef…Catching his dinner!

Megan Giwa-Amu

Megan graduated from The University of Birmingham, UK in 2013 with a First Class BA (Hons) in Marketing and International Business Management. Megan's career has included recruitment, banking, business development, event management and marketing management not only in the UK but also in the Cayman Islands. She has business development experiance in Financial, Captive Insurance, Aviation, Multi-million dollar Developments, Hospitality and IT sectors as well as project managing national and international events. 

Megan has a strong background in project management which has seen her responsible for large projects such as building a mobile app for the worlds largest Captive Insurance forum.

At Personnel 2000, Megan is responsible for all Temporary Support, recruiting on both national and international levels. Megan takes pride in her approach, treating each client and candidate relationship with undivided attention.

Megan moved to the Cayman Islands from the UK in search of career progession and sunnier skies. In her spare time Megan is interested in anything that involves the beautiful caribbean ocean! Diving, snorkelling, swimming, trampoling, jet-skiing, horse-back riding you name it - she loves it!

 

 

Christina Thompson

Christina was born and raised in Staten Island, New York. The beautiful waters and nonstop sunshine of the Cayman Islands attracted Christina to move here in 2009 after graduating Stony Brook University where she majored in Biochemistry.

For the past 2 years, Christina has been working in Human Resources with her specialty being in Cayman Islands Immigration Law.

Christina has successfully prepared countless work permit applications, allowing eager expats to begin their new lives here in Cayman.

In her spare time, Christina loves spending time with her dog who she rescued from the Humane Society.

Aurelie Gendron

Aurelie is the latest addition to the Personnel 2000 team. As a Recruitment Officer, Aurelie plays a hands on role with candidates and ensures a smooth recruitment process for both candidates and clients alike. Her strong knowledge of the Cayman Islands Laws as well as her solid experience in recruitment is a valuable asset to the team.

Aurelie was born and raised in Montreal, Canada. After completing her Masters degree in Human Resource, she was eager to keep learning and to develop her professional experience in a different environment. The beautiful Cayman Islands seemed like the perfect fit.

Sarah Turner

Sarah joined Personnel 2000's team having relocated to Cayman from the Isle of Man in February 2016 along with her husband Stephen.

The role of Client Relationship Manager is a new position within the company and Sarah works closely with our large base of clients.  Sarah has over twenty years experience in the recruitment filed training with one of the largest recruitment agencies at the time HMS Recruitment. She also owned her own agency for seven years specializing in offshore recruitment.

Before arriving in Cayman Sarah was a Senior Manager with the Hospice on the Isle of Man managing over 600 volunteers aged between 15 and 92! She and her family are enjoying life in Cayman and when she is not working she loves travelling even though she has a fear of flying!.

Janine Jacobs
Recruitment Consultant, Psychometric Profiler  
Janine Jacobs

Janine offers more than 8 years’ experience in the psychometric assessment field. After completing her BsocSci Honours Degree in Psychology from the University of Pretoria in 2008, she went on to complete her research and psychometric internship at the Council for Scientific and Industrial Research. In 2010, she obtained her registration as a qualified Psychometrist (Independent Practice) with the Health Professions Council of South-Africa. She has also been a member of the Golden Key International Honour Society since 2004. She has done assessment consulting work for clients across a variety of industries including mining, tourism, banking, IT, automotive, agricultural, and industrial. While she is proudly South-African, she decided to move to Grand Cayman in 2015 as she loves travelling and learning about different foods and cultures. She is passionate about animal welfare and spends most of her free time with her husband and two adopted dogs, Chloe and Cindy.

Matt recently joined the Personnel 2000 team, having relocated from London where he was employed by one of the UK’s top Recruitment firms, becoming an expert in the Senior Finance market, focusing on interim and permanent placement of qualified accountants. Matt has a degree in Criminology & Psychology and originates from Liverpool. The cold weather and rain made Matt realize that he needed to work somewhere warmer and what better place than Cayman! When not recruiting you can find Matt on the beach perfecting his tan or under the waves Scuba Diving.
