Employment Requirements

Who is Eligible for Employment

Employment in the Cayman Islands are open to all foreign nationals. However, the employer must first ensure that all attempts to fill a vacancy with a Caymanian, Caymanian Status Holders or persons married to a Caymanian have been met. Proof of this process will be required prior to submitting an application for a GOL (Gainful Occupation Licence) to the Immigration Authorities. This requirement however, will not be necessary to secure short-term temporary employment. Personnel 2000 will provide successful applicants or businesses wishing to relocate to the Cayman Islands with all necessary documentation and relocation guidance to ensure a smooth employment transition into the Cayman Islands
